Kind of makes ya proud to be from Missouri doesn't it? Lafayette County is in the heart of Missouri's "Little Dixie" area, which was ransacked by the occupying Union army and Kansas Jayhawkers during the War of Yankee Agression. It's good to know that the fighting spirit of their ancestors is very much intact!
