Karl Rove ...

US President George W. Bush (L) embraces Karl Rove (R), assistant to the President, Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor, after a statement discussing Rove's time spent working with Bush prior to departing on Marine One from the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, DC. Rove, the master political tactician behind Bush's two election triumphs, quit Monday in a bombshell announcement after more than six tempestuous White House years.(AFP/Saul Loeb)

From the Associated Press (via Yahoo news)...

"The president appeared glum as he joined Rove for the announcement. "Karl Rove is moving on down the road," Bush said. "We've been friends for a long time, and we're still going to be friends. I would call Karl Rove a dear friend."

Rove, his voice shaking with emotion, told Bush, "I'm grateful to have been a witness to history. It has been the joy and the honor of a lifetime."

Well as heartwarming as all this sounds, let me put this all into perspective...

Rove is a political whore.  Which, makes President Bush the "John" and we all know what "Johns" do to whores in the morning, they tell them to "move on down the road".

Bush's send off was the equivilent to throwing money into a prostitute's face after the deed is done and saying "get out".

Unfortunately for Rove there will be no "Pretty Woman" ending to this story book romance. Something is definitely up, and while at this time we don't know exactly what is up, it certainly appears that Rove has become a liability.

See ya on the street corner Karl, it couldn't have happened to a better person. Hey, I heard McCain is hiring...lol lol lol

Federal Court Rules Against Archambo....

From KSDK News Channel 5 St. Louis...

Farmington Teen Loses Battle Over Rebel Flag...

"ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A federal judge ruled that an eastern Missouri school district was within its rights to suspend a student who refused to remove clothing bearing the Confederate battle flag.

A teacher at Farmington High School took the boy's baseball cap depicting the battle flag but the next day the teen returned wearing a T-shirt and belt buckle bearing the flag.

Then 14, Bryce Archambo was suspended from Farmington High School on Sept. 28. With that, his mother pulled him out of school.

The family has since been home-schooling the teenager. They sued in November.

Archambo argued that he wore the battle flag clothing not as a racial statement, but as a symbol of pride in his Southern heritage. His lawyer expects to appeal.

He argued that under state law, school districts cannot order students to remove items that doesn't promote disruptive behavior."

While Farmington High School may be gloating over a Federal judge's decision to "legislate from the bench", this battle is far from over.

As noted in the news article above, Bryce Archambo plans to appeal this decision. I spoke to him earlier this evening and he informed me that his lawyer is not discouraged, citing the fact that many of his cases have been won through the appeals process.
