Freedom's Frontier: Sam Brownback's Plan to Re-Write Mo. History

U.S. Senator Brownback (R) Kansas

A source emailed me earlier today with information regarding a Federally funded project to help rewrite history in the Kansas / Missouri border area. The project which is to be called the" Freedom's Frontier" project is the brain child of U.S. Senator Sam Brownback (R) Kansas. According to my source...

"Here’s some red meat for you.  There are a couple tax payer funded projects you can sink your teeth into.  Both are HQ in Lawrence, KS and have been pushed by Sen. Brownback (presidential candidate?) and some Missouri politicians.  They are designed to tell the leftist Kansas version of the war and (according to my source in Kansas) settle the question of slavery and the war against Missouri “once and for all”.  Not only is there lots of Federal money in this stink pot for political reeducation but there is a lot of pork for Lawrence and Kansas for public works projects.  I can’t find out who the Missouri politicians that helped include Missouri counties but maybe you can.  It’s a big Stalinist boondoggle to whip up on MO.  Groups like the neo-marxist Wide Awake Productions are in the thick of it.  Government money for everyone….yeah!!!

If you want, go ahead and use this from an informed source for now and I’ll try to get you an article on it if I can get some more pertinent inside sources.

If you recall, on April 29th the Missouri Bushwhacker Blog reported that the Missouri Department of Natural Resources had tried to launch a propaganda campaign, to rewrite history in the town of Osceola, Missouri.

The Missouri DNR wanted to put up "informative plaques" in the Osceola area stating that troops under the command of Kansas Jayhawker Jim Lane did not burn the town early in the war, and placing the blame squarely on Missouri partisans who protected the area from such attacks.

My source tells me that the propaganda campaign launched by the Missouri DNR, which was thwarted by the help of the John T. Coffee Camp, Missouri Sons of Confederate Veterans and local residents, was more than likely connected to the "Freedom Frontier" project.

Anyone with any further information on Brownback's modern day "Jayhawker" attack on Missouri, (including the names of the Missouri politicians who are supporting it) would be most helpful.
