Vice President Dick Cheney: "Ain't No NAFTA Superhighways"...

World Net Daily .Com is reporting that...

"Despite evidence to the contrary, Vice President Dick Cheney says there is no "secret plan" to create a continent-crossing superhighway to help facilitate a merger of the United States, Mexico and Canada.

"The administration is not engaged in a secret plan to create a 'NAFTA super highway,'" asserts Cheney in a recent letter to a constituent, according to a copy of the message obtained by WND. "

Would you believe a man with a smirk like that on his face? Neither do I. As usual Cheney a typical politician is skirting around the issue. Note that he says there are no plans to create a Superhighway.

Maybe that's because the North American Super Corridor Coalition states that the NAFTA Superhighway already exists!

According to the NASCO website:

""NAFTA Superhighway" - As of late, there has been much media attention given to the "new, proposed NAFTA Superhighway".  NASCO and the cities, counties, states and provinces along our existing Interstate Highways 35/29/94 (the NASCO Corridor) have been referring to I-35 as the 'NAFTA Superhighway' for many years, as I-35 already carries a substantial amount of international trade with Mexico, the United States and Canada.  There are no plans to build a new NAFTA Superhighway - it exists today as I-35."

The whole time that politicians and their partners in crime the media (like the St. Louis Post-Dispatch) that called the NAFTA Superhighway an urban myth) have been denying plans to build a NAFTA Superhighway, the North American Super Corridor Coaltion has quietly been upgrading Interstate 35, to the point that they now feel comfortable calling it a NAFTA Superhighway.

Driving out of San Antonio, Tx back in June I can attest to the fact that I-35 North was a virtual construction zone all the way to Dallas.
