Apparently radio / tv host Glenn Beck has fallen off of the wagon again. Sometimes I listen to Beck and find him humorous. Sometimes I listen to him and think, "What an idiot", today of course I thought the latter.

Mr. Beck had a ground-breaking, shocking revalation today...drum roll please... Beck stated, "I think our President is a racist".

Whew, you know I was wondering about that Glenn... geez.

If that was not bad enough he started railing about if anyone tried to  pull a statue of Lincoln down or Jefferson for that matter they would have to shoot him first.

Beck, get off the booze you fool! If Lincoln were alive today he would have shot you for trying to defend Jefferson's statue!

In all of Beck's tyrade about Marxism and big government, did it ever occur to him that Lincoln is the reason government is out of control today?

Did Beck ever ponder the fact that he used Marxist German immigrants to get the job done?

Of course not.

Of all of Beck's rants about Obama's wasteful stimulus plan, did he ever think that Lincoln's forced implementation of Henry Clay's "American System" was "Obama Light"?

Beck, get off the booze and get a clue. Lincoln was no friend of freedom and the Civil War was not fought for the freedom of the slave, nor for anyone else for that matter.

The federal government had imposed an import tarrif of 40% on all goods coming into Southern ports. This money was then used on government subsidized projects in the North. The South was paying 80% of the nation's taxes and seeing little to no benefit from it.

By comparison the wealthy and middle class in America are paying the majority of the taxes in today's modern day America, while Obama spends it on bailing out corporate executives.

What little money is left over goes to urban areas (you know the areas that voted for Obama).

Thomas DiLorenzo, in his latest article entitled, "How they lie about Lincoln" writes...

Lord knows what the "scholars" will write about the "legacy" of our current illegitimate President from Kenya.
