When it comes to bad Republicans , Cape County, Missouri has got to top the list. For instance the county party had a booth set up at the annual Jackson, Missouri "Homecomers" celebration.

Prominently displayed in the booth was the Culpeper "Don't Tread on Me" flag (pictured below).

The first question to pop into my mind was; Why weren't they displaying this flag when George W. Bush was busy gutting the Constitution?

Then there is today's Op-Ed featured in the Southeast Missourian newspaper (owned by prominent Cape County, Republican Gary Rust) which sings the praises of illegal immigration by recycling the same old bogus Republican talking points that has destroyed the Republican from within. Ironically it is the same political ideology that destroyed the Democrat party years ago. Quoting the Southeast Missourian:

"It's no secret that there are illegal immigrants, many from Mexico, living in Southeast Missouri. For the most part, these relative newcomers find work, obey the law and send money to families in the home countries"

Ah but that's not the only "gem" found in today's S.E. Missourian. The paper also features this dandy little anti-gun rights political cartoon...
