Southern Poverty Law Center wants you to call CNN and Keep Lou Dobbs on the Air!

Well not exactly. But the SPLC was stupid enough to send me the following email...

"Dear Friend,

Lou Dobbs is at it again.

We've told you about how the CNN host has used his platform to spread hateful propaganda that demonizes Latinos.

Now, Dobbs is supporting the bizarre claims of so-called "birthers" who insist that President Obama isn't really a citizen of the United States and that his presidency, therefore, is not legitimate.

The truth about Obama's birth in Hawaii is not in dispute. It has been verified by many reputable journalists, including CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin, who called the claims "a joke," and even a reporter on Dobbs' own show. Yet Dobbs continues to fan the flames.

It's important to note that this conspiracy theory was concocted by an anti-Semite and circulated by racist extremists who cannot accept the fact that a black man has been elected president. Among those who helped disseminate the lie was the neo-Nazi who killed a security guard at the Holocaust Memorial Museum in June.

Respectable news organizations should not be peddling propaganda that supports the agenda of radical extremists who are only interested in stirring up hate and fomenting violence. But Dobbs continues to do just that. And it's irresponsible for CNN to let him continue trading in falsehoods.

Enough is enough. Today, I've written to the president of CNN urging that Dobbs be removed from the air.

I encourage you to contact CNN yourself. If enough of us speak up, the network will listen.

Thank you for standing strong against hate.

Sincerely,

J. Richard Cohen
President, Southern Poverty Law Center"

Below is my reply...

"Mr. Cohen,

I want to Thank You personally for sending me CNN's contact info regarding Mr. Dobbs. I can assure you that I will utilize this information and call contact CNN. I will definitely tell CNN to ...Keep Lou Dobbs on the air.

CNN has always been left-leaning in their news coverage.  If the Southern Poverty Law Center is criticizing CNN then what does that make them?

For Freedom and Missouri,

Clint"

As usual the SPLC is using their tried and true tactics, a klansman in every town, an anti-semite hiding behind every tree and a neo-nazi under every log.

The only conspiracy being perpetrated is by Barack Obama himself. All he has to do is release his birth records, his real birth certificate. Come on, we can't even renew our drivers licenses without our birth certificate here in Missouri.

Is it too much to ask that our president do the same?

So everybody, let's Thank Mr. Cohen for sending us CNN's contact info. Let us now utilize it to support Lou Dobbs and keep him on the air!

CLICK HERE TO EMAIL CNN  and tell them how much you appreciate an honest news anchor like Lou Dobbs!

Good Republicans Part 1: Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin is one of the few "good Republicans" on the political scene. For instance, Breitbart.Com published a story today entitled, 'Palin Formally Steps Down as Alaska Governor' which states that:

"In a fiery campaign-style speech, Palin said she was stepping down to take her political battles to a larger if unspecified stage and avoid an unproductive, lame duck status... "With this decision, now, I will be able to fight even harder for you, for what is right, and for truth. And I have never felt that you need a title to do that," Palin said to raucous applause from about 5,000 people gathered at Pioneer Park in downtown Fairbanks."

Breitbart went on to report that:

" Free speech was a theme of her farewell speech at a crowded picnic in Fairbanks, as the outgoing governor scolded "some seemingly hell bent on tearing down our nation" and warned Americans to "be wary of accepting government largess. It doesn't come free."

She also took aim at the media, saying her replacement, Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell, "has a very nice family too, so leave his kids alone!"

The fact that 5000 people came to listen to her farewell speech is the "back story" here. She is enjoying immense popularity for her "Alaska First" policies and State Rights philosophies.

Another website, with a rather unorthodox title, touched on this fact and had this to say about the video which appears at the top of this post:

"Ever notice that the mainstream media won’t touch the Sarah Palin story with a ten foot pole? Ha ha! Another inconvenient truth, just like the octomom was and Michael Jackson. Except this time the non-story with respect to Palin is the conspicuous absence of the massive picnics being held in her honor as she departs office in Alaska. Watch this video above and notice the line that stretches for as far as you can see on what is clearly a blustery day, and then ask yourself whether these people really wanted a salmon sandwich or glimpse the making of the next President of the United States.

Sarah Palin eloquently draws a distinction between America’s current obsession with money and conversations about race that lead nowhere and how the ones who risk their lives every day for the rights that people take for granted are forgotten.

Palin said, “I said, ‘Oh no,’ it is not a down day – my son called this week from Iraq,” Palin recalled, referring to her son, Track, an Army enlistee. “He is safe, he is sound. It is always a good day when my son calls.”

Interrupting the applause, Palin said: “I wish that some in the media would keep things like that in perspective, what is really important in our country. And what is important is our freedoms, America’s security, our liberty.”

Expect more of this from Palin, and the media will be at a loss for explaining the phenomenon growing around her. She is literally the second coming of the one whom the media crucified to prove a point that America was beyond race. They went so far as to ban free speech, and people are aware of that now."

I couldn't have said it better myself.
