Republicans Save Gonzales: Part of Bush's Amnesty Treason?

Photo

Do I even need to post part of the story that goes with this picture? I mean, isn't it plain as day about what is contained in the story, by looking at the pompous smirk on this jerk's face? Oh well here goes the inevitable...

"WASHINGTON - Republicans blocked a Senate no-confidence vote on Attorney General Alberto Gonzales Monday, rejecting a symbolic Democratic effort to force him from office amid blistering criticism from lawmakers in both parties

The 53-38 vote to move the resolution to full debate fell seven short of the 60 required. In bringing the matter up, Democrats dared Republicans to vote their true feelings about an attorney general who has alienated even the White House's strongest defenders by bungling the firings of federal prosecutors and claiming not to recall the details.

Republicans did not defend him, but most voted against moving the resolution ahead." ( read the whole story by clicking on this link )

What!??? Not defending him? What the hell do you call blocking a vote of no confidence? Forget it, let's cut to the chase, it's called Defending Alberto!

There are only two other groups with a bigger smirk on their face than Alberto "VO5" Gonzales.

1. Mexican Supremacist group LaRaza ( of which Gonzales is a member)

2. The Oval Office, specifically George "W" Bush. (The "W" stands for globalist whore)

Don't think this isn't related to the next story...

US immigration bill alive and well, White House insists

"The White House insisted Sunday that radical plans to overhaul the US immigration system were not dead, amid calls for Republicans and Democrats to work hard to save a controversial bill.

The sweeping reform drive, backed by US President George W. Bush, to bring 12 million illegal immigrants out of the shadows, collapsed late Thursday after a night of high drama in the Democratic-controlled Congress.

Democratic leader Harry Reid withdrew the landmark measure after senators, seeking to add amendments to the bill, voted twice within nine hours not to move it towards a final vote as he had demanded...

But Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez, who championed the legislation, insisted on CNN on Sunday: "This bill is alive and well, and we are more determined than ever to get it through.

"What happened is just a break, and people want more debate. They want a little bit more time. We probably need a couple of days more, I understand, from the senators."

White House spokesman Tony Snow agreed, saying the draft legislation, which some Republicans have slammed as nothing more than a sweeping amnesty for illegal immigrants, should be brought back before Congress.

#1. The bill is not sweeping "reform" it is amnesty with a sur-charge!

#2  What do you expect from a "commerce secretary" named Carlos Gutierrez?

#3 What our furher "W" wants, "W" gets. In fact George W. Bush is probably the worst president this country has seen since Abraham Lincoln. He needs Alberto Gonzales on the legal front, he has put his foot down to the Republican loyalist, the neocons if you will, and they are going to make sure that George W. Bush gets his amnesty.

Meanwhile lines are being drawn in this country that cross party lines. Those who are for Constitutional Law, and those who are for the Bush agenda.
