Hate Crimes Legislation Passed by U.S. House of Reps'

The U.S. House of Representatives has passed controversial hate thought crimes legislation and the ADL (the Anti Defamation League) couldn't be happier.

In a press release dated 29 April,2009 the ADL states:

"New York, NY, April 29, 2009 … Calling it an "essential and necessary step forward in the national effort to counter hate crimes," the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) today hailed the approval of long delayed legislation to update and expand federal hate crimes laws by the U.S. House of Representatives, and urged the Senate to follow suit.

The measure, H.R. 1913, the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009, was approved by a vote of 249-175.

Glen S. Lewy, ADL National Chair, and Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director, issued the following statement:

We welcome House approval of the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act as an essential and necessary step forward in the national effort to counter hate crimes.

Hate crimes tear at the fabric of our society and fragment communities.  It is crucial that mechanisms are in place for law enforcement to respond effectively when they occur, and for federal authorities to provide assistance when appropriate.

With the House vote, and the continued strong support of President Obama and Attorney General Holder, we have our best chance ever to secure enactment in this Congress.  We urge the Senate to promptly follow the House in approving this bill.

For more than 10 years, ADL has led a broad coalition of civil rights, religious, educational, law enforcement and civic organizations working in support of the legislation"

Yes for more than 10 years the ADL has tried to trample upon the Constitution of the United States and the Constitutions of the Statesthemselves but to their credit, they give President Obama and Attorney  General Holder all of the praise.

With the recent defection of Pennsylvania Senator "Hannibal" Specter to the Democratic Party there will be nothing to stop the Senate from finalizing the death of our Constitutional Republic.

I must apologize, but since the end of free speech is so near, I must make a brief diversion from the subject in order to bring you this public service announcement, before it becomes illegal to do so...

Already some churches and prominent pastors are starting to cave in. As "The Political Cesspool" radio host James Edwards recently predicted. Edwards writes:

"The other night Rick Warren told Larry King that he doesn’t see stopping the legalization of gay marriage as a priority, and tried hard to create the impression that he’s never cared about homosexual marriage very much. And he didn’t mind telling several bald faced lies to accomplish it. I wrote about them in the linked article. Now more evidence has come out that he’s lying through his teeth about not thinking gay marriage is any big deal. That’s not what he was saying back in 2004. Back then he was singing a completely different tune. He sent a letter to his church members about the upcoming presidential 2004 election. In it, he said there were some things where good Christians could disagree - Iraq, Social Security, domestic spending, etc. But there were five issues that were “non-negotiable”, with no room whatsoever for disagreement. One of them was gay marriage"

I also believe that Edwards is correct in his prediction that:

"Rick Warren is backpedaling as fast as he can on the historic Christian view of homosexuality, and doesn’t mind telling lie after lie if it will get people to stop calling him a bigot and a hater.

Almost all evangelicals will follow his example, too. Just wait and see. Most of them won’t do it quite this fast. But when tax exemptions start being stripped away, you can just bet that a whole lot of “Christian” outfits are going to take a “fresh look” at the Bible and discover that it wasn’t God’s word, but “cultural prejudices”, that led Christianity to condemn homosexuality for 2000 years."

The real truth of the matter is that any crime is a "hate crime". If you steal, you hate your neighbor. If you kill for anything other than self-defense or protecting your country, then you hate humanity.

There is no need for "new" legislation to protect minorities because to give minorities special treatment means that inequality will be forced upon the majority

This legislations benefits the race baiters like the ADL who will use this to $olicits cash donations from people who have been duped into believing that they have done a "great thing", not knowing that they have helped muzzle the First Amendment.

It will also benefit the Obama administration because any criticism directed toward him will be interpreted as a hate crime, thus guaranteeing President Obama the rights of a dictator and continuing America's slide into a Third World country status.
